Asher can shimmy!

Asher started doing this great shimmy dance. This is just a small
sample of this really fun dance. He seems to flow with any music.

First Days!

Sorry it has been so long since I've posted. We've been a little busy with our first days of school. A week ago Caroline and Caleb had their first day of school. I didn't get any pictures of Caroline probably because she and Brad left for school before 7am. She has adjusted well to a big adjustment in schedule, many teachers, new school and new friends!
Caleb feels very comfortable in his school and couldn't wait to go! On his first day it was pouring down rain when the bus came so we don't have his usual porch photos.

Abby started a few days after everyone. This was a hard time to wait and she was soooo excited to get started as well. But finally her day came and she was out the door with smiles and a skip in her step. I'm so blessed that my children are enjoying their school and their teachers! I just love my time with my kids that it was so hard to let them go. And Asher and I are holding down the fort for now.

Now I'm 6!!!

This is a montage of Abby's 5th year! She is a wonderful blessing from God. Beautiful on the inside and out. She's a leader and confident. She is loving and cares for all of God's creation. She is dynamic and funny. We love her laugh. She rocks! Enjoy! Happy 6th birthday, girl!

Hola!

We are home from the wonderful city of Monterrey, Mexico. We spent time with Brad's sister and brother-in-law, Beth and Todd and their wonderful family and also my sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Greg and their great family. We also spent tons of time swimming, playing and eating with cousins. Brad's mother and brother and sister-in-law also came. It was truly a family affair.

We visited children's homes and played with many kids, we visited a government housing development my sister works in and loved visiting with the great people there and meeting an adorable 4 day old girl. I'm so impressed with my sister's spanish and her willingness to just stick her neck out and try new things and get lost or say something that is just not right and she has learned and grown soooo much. God is really working in their ministry at Back 2 Back Monterrey.
We had a great time seeing some sites in Monterrey and ministering hand in hand with our family. There was a dedication of a house on their property. Later this year 8 high school and college boys will move in and go to school and God is working in their lives. Their pasts are hard and God has taken that a made it good just like Joseph of the OT. The house was dedicated in the memory of my father-in-law and was appropriately named the "Joseph House". We had a great time and didn't want to come home.
